We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder specializing in IPDRG coding to assign accurate medical codes for inpatient services. The role requires strong knowledge of coding guidelines, clinical documentation, and healthcare classification systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records and assign appropriate IPDRG codes
• Ensure accurate coding based on ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG guidelines
• Analyze clinical documentation for completeness and clarity
• Maintain coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for documentation clarification
• Ensure timely coding and submission of medical records
• Follow payer-specific and regulatory coding requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of patient health information

Requirements

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG systems
• Understanding of inpatient coding (IPDRG) guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Certification in medical coding (preferred: CPC, CCS, or equivalent)
